The Georgia NDWA-We Dream in Black Chapter was NDWA’s first chapter and also the birthplace of our We Dream in Black (WeDiB) program.
We organize domestic workers throughout the state for better wages and improved working conditions. We also play a lead role in local and statewide coalitions to win rights, recognition and safety for all low-wage workers.
As part of the We Dream in Black program, the Georgia chapter is a space specifically for Black domestic workers to build community and deepen skills to lead locally, in our national domestic worker movement, and in broader efforts to win a more just economy and democracy.
