Last week over 500 domestic workers and supporters joined us to ‘Power Up for Care’. Thank you for being in this fight to ensure a real investment in our care economy!
Now more than ever, we need Congress to hear from us that they must pass this once-in-a-generation opportunity to make home care jobs good jobs that pay a living wage and ensure our loved ones can receive the care they need to live and age with dignity. If you weren’t able to join us for the Power Up for Care event, check out the video recording here and help us amplify it on social media!
In addition to this event, domestic workers and supporters around the country have been taking action online and offline this August recess! We’ve had several town halls focused on our demands for care and citizenship, domestic workers have met with members of Congress, published op-eds, and taken to the streets. Stay tuned for more calls to action as we head into the homestretch in our fight to win this much needed investment in homecare and a path to citizenship this year.
